This is my personal experience in pictures.
Well, here we go, getting everything ready for the Ultimate Reset. Toasting the pumpkin seeds, and taking initial weight, measurements and pictures, I will share comparisons at the end. This is a great way to change eating habits and jump into a more healthy lifestyle. Eating cleaner.
Well I have to be honest, I was extremely nervous about the Alkalinize, (the green shot) because been reading others opinion about it, pinch your nose, use lemons, don't smell it, they said. Well it wasn't as bad. It is not the greatest thing in the world, I used cold water and I think that made a really big difference. And I know is giving tons of benefits to my body and health. So bring in on!!! Once a day!
Today is day 3, and I feel really really tired in the afternoon, I can really go to sleep at 6:00 pm super early, but it is part of the process of reclaiming your body. I didn't felt hungry during the day. And Boy do you eat during the reset, Dinner was a lot of food and even my 3 yrs old daughter liked the miso soup with Seaweed. I attempted to roll some sushi but wasn't very successful but it was still good. I tried Tempeh for the first time and really liked the smokey one, replacement of Bacon. I also liked the Lentils salad, really yummy and filling. Loving the changes as well, today I didn't felt bloated, no gases and I feel light.
Day 4 was a hectic one. Started with hubby getting sick, I got late to work, Had to work at a job fair today where I believe there was over 1000 applicants, was not able to eat what was on the plan, but from the options provided I choose the veggie one, not bad. But dinner was the BEST so far. Stir fry veggies with coconut oil and sesame oil and quinoa. If you've never tried coconut oil you should. It is the best, not only gives a delicious taste to the food, but the health benefits are beyond amazing. You can read more about it here http://www.organicfacts.net/organic-oils/organic-coconut-oil/health-benefits-of-coconut-oil.html
And super happy because after 3 days on the Reset I already lost 1.8 pounds yeyyyyyyyyyy. And I haven't start the detox process yet. This is simply amazing. If you want to Reset your body and reclaim your health message me, I can help you!
Day 5 was easier since I was home. Breakfast was farina with apple and walnuts, Lunch was quinoa salad, and Dinner since I loved dinner yesterday I repeat it today, quinoa with Stir fry veggies in coconut oil and sesame oil. I discover that the Alkalinize goes down better with cold water. I drank it today with room temperature water and was hard to swallow :) It is getting better and better and I feel lighter and lighter, I also feel clean and with lot more energy.
Day 6 was even better, I tried Tempe h for the first time today and I have to be honest, not one of my favorites or one that I will keep on my meals after the reset. I rather have the Smokey temple strips instead of bacon. Breakfast was Oatmeal with apples and flax seeds, Lunch was Quinoa salad and micro Salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Dinner was Baked temp-eh with quinoa and steam broccoli. Oh and this is a secret, but I jumped on the scale this morning and was down 3.8 pounds already. Happy dance here!!!!
Day 7: Last day of Phase 1 Reclaiming my body, from now on I will be eliminating anything animal, even eggs are not allowed, not too happy about it but is all worth it. Ok, this last day of week one was awesome, I think my favorite, I loved all foods, Breakfast was scramble eggs with steam kale with pine nuts. Lunch Cashews and zucchini soup with micro green salad and balsamic vinaigrette. Dinner was Cashews and Zucchini soup and Roasted Root-Medley (sweet potato, beets and carrots with onions) All foods were super yummy today. I have to tell you, never before are beets in the past because I never liked their dirty look, but they are delicious with a bit of olive oil and Himalayan salt. Bring it on Phase 2!
Day 8: Well, it all started pretty good, I started a new supplement today "Detox" It helps remove toxins and waste in the colon, sounds good to me and it doesn't taste bad at all. Breakfast was a fruit salad, Lunch was Micro green salad with balsamic vinaigrette and Dinner was brown rice with pinto beans and Zucchini, this plate was delicious, one more that I will keep on my menu after the reset is done. And I jumped on the scale this morning and I have lost a total of 5.4 pounds, pretty good, doing the happy dance here!!!! Honestly I haven't workout not even a little bit, except for cleaning the back yard. But starting tomorrow I will start incorporating the Tread mill, and will start walking, at the end, I need to train for my Color Me Rad 5K in June :). I have to tell you, at this point, the feeling is amazing, I feel lighter, healthier, I haven't felt bloated since I started the Reset, I can really tell my body is getting cleaner and healthier with each day. This is Awesome. I also feel more alert and energized. You all have to try this and clean all those toxins accumulated on your system for years and Reset your body once.
Day 9: WOW I was really impressed today with the foods and myself eating them. Never in my wildest dreams will thought I will eat chick peas for breakfast, but it was delicious with avocado. Today I was so super busy that I forgot to take a picture of my lunch, but it was the same brown rice with pinto bean from yesterday with microgreen salad. Tons and tons of water, I'm drinking on average 90oz of water a day, that's a little over half my weight in water. Dinner was Sweet potato and roasted red bell pepper bisque, wow even my picky husband liked it, it was super delicious with a side of avocados because I forgot to buy the asparagus :) and still drinking water till I go to bed, even when I have to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, hey is all worth it, I have people already telling me that they can notice the difference.
Day 10, Breakfast was fruit salad, I ran out of papaya don't know what I'm going to eat for breakfast tomorrow. :( Oh well, Lunch was Sweet potato and red bell pepper bisque, yummy and greek salad with pine nuts without chicken and Dinner Oh wow, diner was so yummy, Quinoa-Lentil pilaf with avocado. First time ever doing this but wow, delicious!!!! Drinking tons of water. Not sure if this is because of the detox supplement, but the only discomfort is gas and bloated, but I've been reading on the Reset group pages on FB and I'm not the only one. I guess is part of the process.
Day 11, Wow, I can't believe I'm halfway there. Well for breakfast was smashed chick peas because I ran out of fruits. Lunch, was same Quinoa lentil pilaf from yesterday and Dinner, well not a fan, but it was Hearty Vegetable miso soup with quinoa and swiss chard. I still feel gassy today, and for some reason I feel a bit tired, but I think is only because we have some deadlines to meat at work, and I've been running all over the place like a chicken with the head cut off. Other than that it's been pretty good.
Day 12, wow, more than halfway done, one more week, I can't wait to see the final results. Breakfast today was fruit, and from now on will be a fruit plate until the last day. Lunch, little soup from yesterday, and Dinner was toasted millets, roasted beets and coconut collar greens. I really liked the taste of the collar greens with coconut milk. I may keep that recipe as well. I've been reading at this point some people feel the need of cleaning house and other stuffs on their life, I feel so free and different, I will really like I could clean my job, get a brand new one, and other things I better not mention here :) But yes, you feel different, like you see life with another view, more positive now.
Day 13, I'm so close to the finish line I cannot believe it!!! I'm loving the fruit plate in the mornings for breakfast, today was papaya and cantaloupe melon. Big bowl of salad for lunch and Kaboucha squash and broccoli for dinner. I went out with the kids to show a house and took a pic of my face and in love with the definition on my face. Wow, you really get rid of toxins and stuffs that you've been holding on your body without knowing.
Day 14, Yeyyyyyy one more week. And today was the last day of the detox supplement, even though it wasn't that bad at all. Breakfast was mixed salad, and that will be breakfast for the last week since it will be a vegan week. Lunch salad with balsamic vinaigrette, Dinner I repeat the Quinoa Lentil pilaf since I really really liked it, and today's dinner had corn in it and corn has never sit well on my stomach :) Last week I will eliminate all grains and legumes so this will be a totally vegan week, only eating fruits and veggies I can do this. I can't wait to see results.
Day 15, Last Phase - Restore, One new supplement: Revitalize. help revitalize beneficial flora in the digestive track. Awesomeness!!!! Breakfast was fruit. Lunch was Quinoa Lentil Pilaf and Dinner was Yam and steamed veggies. Today I was able to spend some time with my co-workers at a baby shower and didn't even try to eat their pizzas, wings or cake, and wasn't upset about it or anything, this is a big NSV for me and proud of how far I've come.
Day 16 it is just getting easier and easier, although I'm feeling a bit tired, but I think it is because of my monthly visit :). Breakfast was fruits, veggies for lunch and Curried cauliflower for dinner, I was not hungry at all during the day. So closed to the finish line!!!
Day 17, getting closer, I cooked Spanish rice and chicken for dinner for my family today, and it smell soooo good, but I ate my Avocado cucumber soup instead :), I'm not only seeing definition on my face but also on my core area, this is impressive, I can't wait to see the final results
Day 18, Being honest, I jumped on the scale about 3 times, I couldn't believe I have lost so much, I honestly did this reset to clean my body and feel healthier, the weight loss is just an added benefit. Breakfast today was chunked pineaple, lunch was more of the amazing cucumber avocado soup and stir fry veggies with coconut oil. Oh and since I'm being totally honest I ate 3 gluten free cookies, I was craving for something sweet and can't drink my shakeology yet. I'm getting there, closer and closer every day!!!!
Day 19, wow, is almost over, two more days. I think I will continue eating as clean, just adding some grains, eggs and almond milk to my daily diet but more than likely will continue eating as clean. Breakfast was pineapple with papaya, Lunch was a veggie burger because my boss treat in celebration of my co-worker obtaining her BA. Dinner was steamed cauliflower with curry powder. And look at my progress, no more muffin top, wow, I'm impressed and super exited with my progress, and I'm not done yet, after the Reset I will start P90X and in July I will join a Challenge Group for more Combat, which is my favorite by far.
Day 20 Wow, I'm so close to the finish line, Well today was a long day, and all my meals were push back a little because of how busy I was, but I did it, Breakfast was fruit, Lunch was Jicama and avocado salad, not a fan of the jicama, is a mexican potato and I did not liked it at all. I was so full by dinner time that I just ate baby carrots with humus.
Day 21, I DID IT!!!! It is officially over and even though I did this to feel healthy I lost 8.4 pounds and 9" on my stomach area, this is AMAZING!!!!! I feel so light, healthy and clean and it feels sooooo good. I will keep some recipes, not all of them and now that I have created a habit I will continue eating clean, is so much easier now.
